About Pyroforma
Pyroforma is the expression of fire, fiber, and form—rooted in the ancient and the handmade. I’m Sarah, the artist behind the brand. I create woodburned and hand-carved pieces that carry a raw, earthy energy. Each piece is made with intention, inspired by tribal art, Nordic shapes, ancestral patterns, and the spirit of the natural world.
My creative path is deeply shaped by my upbringing in the Native American tradition, listening to Yuchi and Creek stories passed down from my great-grandfather. Around fires and in quiet moments, I learned to see the world through symbols, cycles, and the sacred connection between humans and nature. That oral tradition taught me that stories live not just in words, but in textures, shapes, and the marks we leave behind.
I work primarily with wood and flame, allowing the textures and grain to guide the design. From spirals and symbols to feathers and flames, my work blends ancestral memory with personal meaning. I also explore fiber arts, weaving softness and structure into the story.
Everything I make is one-of-a-kind—created slowly, thoughtfully, and often in collaboration with my customers. Whether you’re looking for a custom design, a gift, or something sacred for your own space, Pyroforma is about connection—to the material, the maker, the story, and the spirit.
